Sleep ParalysisThe demon visited me once again today.

Yes, today. Not tonight or the night before or after; times you’d think a demon would be out. This demon knows no such boundaries, it would seem, and so it usually visits me in the morning.

I lay in bed, having woken up much earlier than I wanted or needed to, with my eyes shut in hopes of remedying the situation. My body relaxed several times, and I felt sleep just within my grasp…
But several times my body found some fault with the split second-imagery of my dreams and jolted me awake, leaving me frustrated, but not deterred.
I would prefer it to what happens next.

Important You see a different side of a people when they sleep. Some people become rolling and boiling oceans, thrashing around in fits of emotional rage. Others become soft trains, riding down a long peaceful track. Even still, some make an unconscious decision to tell you their life story.
For me, my person becomes a beautiful place of serenity. Whilst he's awake, he's comical, vibrant, and alive. But sleeping, all of those wonderful attributes that make him him, they all become much quieter. All stress and anxiety seemingly disappear from under his radar, leaving only peace of mind and calm. While sleeping, he is more than beautiful.
Sleep is important. But for me, it is not for the reasons scientists say it is. It is a chance to find beauty in those around you where you may not commonly see it, Sleep is a chance to hold someone close, when you're too fearful while conscious.

This is for a great friend. For a GREAT boy, a very generous person. Someone who made my days when I found with my eyes full of tears, someone who was when I needed for a help in my hardest time in the life... A person who DESERVE this day really... Not only for me, for being always with a smile... Lovely with all...

He always shows gently, cute, and overall, an amazing person.

I remember when I knew him... I liked his drawing style, and I saw him as my 'master' in all this about drawing. I tried to check better his skills and learn, and believe me it was very good. Since favourite his artworks and comment on them, until long chats when he has turned my bad mood into a good one and finish making a great friendship, that resumes all. A year has passed, maybe more... I lost the counting... that we know ourselves but it seems like I knew him since all life.

He can be so far away from me, but sometimes I feel him very close, only with words. Days like today, for example, I feel alone, very lonely on this life. There's no friends where I live. But I remember him, and everything about this mind changes. And this is the moment when I say: 'Wait, you're not alone, there's him, your great friend Shaian.'

So, this is for you, my dear Shaian. I'd wish to make a drawing but I'd wish to make you other type of gift this year... Like a dedication like this... You deserve it, my great friend... Believe me, you deserve it. For all your helping, for all your words, for your friendship, for everything. You simply deserve it.
